  • We work successfully with over 50 local authorities
  • We employ over 500 education specialists with vast expertise

How we work

First and foremost we’re education specialists. We understand how schools and academies operate and the challenges they face. We also have significant experience working in and with local authorities, so we appreciate the considerable challenge of continuing to improve standards while spending less.

In fact, that’s where we come in. We deliver a raft of integrated services to local authorities and schools. It could be helping to develop strategies at local authority level. Or it might be providing facilities management services to an individual school.

Our services include:

  • Education consultancy
  • Facilities management
  • Finance
  • Governance
  • Human resources
  • ICT
  • Professional development
  • Careers

We operate across all levels of education, from early years and primary through to post-16 and special education.

Why use our education services?

  • Raise educational standards. In one way or another, each of our services is designed to help schools increase educational standards and improve outcomes. Whether it’s learning about innovative use of ICT or simply relieving teaching staff of an admin burden, we can really make a difference.

  • Drive down costs. Our partnership with Surrey County Council has resulted in savings of £11.3m so far – and our contract has been renewed for four further years. Economies of scale, increased efficiency and simply providing sensible advice all contribute to the savings.

  • Gain access to wider expertise. We connect schools and local authorities with a wide range of experts, sharing innovative resources and providing a level of educational expertise that an individual authority would find impossible to fund and maintain alone.

  • Lighten the load. Our key support services do more than reduce costs. They can relieve busy teachers, staff and governors of administrative tasks, freeing up their time to focus on the areas where they can really make a difference.
